Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union Enables Text-Based Member Support via Eltropy Platform For Two Way Communications

Waterbury, CT — [9/25/2025] — Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce a new partnership with Eltropy, a leading platform for secure, compliant two-way texting in financial services. Starting today, members can text directly with Skyline’s Member Advocates during office hours to get support, no phone call required.

Convenience at Your Fingertips


As part of its mission to enhance member experience, Skyline is introducing texting as a fully integrated support channel. Whether a member has a question about their account, wants to check on a loan application, or needs help with online banking, they can now simply send a text message to a dedicated number. Our Member Advocates will respond in real time during business hours.

This new option delivers several benefits:

  • Faster, more efficient communication: Texting removes the need to dial in, wait on hold, or navigate voice menus.
  • Always accessible: Members can initiate a conversation from their preferred device (their mobile phone), and refer back to prior messages for clarity.
  • Reduced barriers to asking questions: For many, tapping out a quick message feels less intrusive than calling.
  • Seamless handoff : Should a conversation require a voice call or escalation, Eltropy’s platform supports “text-to-talk” handovers.

Why Texting Matters,  Especially for Younger Generations:


Consumer behavior is shifting, and credit unions must evolve to stay relevant. Texting has become a preferred mode of communication for increasingly large segments of the population, especially younger generations. Many Gen Zers and younger Millennials feel more comfortable messaging than making calls. Providing a text-first support channel meets members where they already are.

  2. During office hours, Member Advocates will handle incoming texts just as they respond to calls or emails.
  3. Conversations can remain text-based or be escalated to a phone or branch visit if needed.
  4. All messages are archived and integrated into Skyline’s systems for tracking and continuity.
