Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union Provides Naugatuck Ambulance Inc. with Ambulance Purchase Financing

For Immediate Release: Waterbury, Connecticut – September 2, 2025 – Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Waterbury, CT, is proud to announce that it has provided Naugatuck Ambulance Inc. with the financing needed to purchase a new ambulance. This milestone marks a significant achievement in the credit union's ongoing efforts to support local municipalities and nonprofit organizations by offering affordable financing solutions for essential vehicles.

Skyline's commitment to the community is evident in the quick and efficient process that allowed Naugatuck Ambulance Inc. to secure the necessary funds. This initiative is part of a larger goal set by the credit union's CEO, James A. Higgins, in 2024 to help nonprofit organizations, such as ambulance associations, obtain the vehicles they need to serve the public at competitive rates.

"This is our second ambulance organization where financing has been made available within our field of membership," said James Higgins, CEO of Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union. "In 2024, I set a mission to help our local municipalities and nonprofit organizations, like ambulance associations, finance the vehicles they need at great rates. This ultimately benefits future patients and taxpayers, as many of these ambulance organizations receive some funding directly from municipalities."

Naugatuck Ambulance required a new ambulance to continue its mission of providing emergency medical services to the town of Naugatuck. Executive Director and Chief of Naugatuck Ambulance Inc., Kyle Kelley, expressed his gratitude for the seamless and efficient experience with Skyline Financial.
