The new IOLTA Accounts come with no minimum balance requirements and no monthly maintenance fees, making them accessible to law firms of every size, from solo practitioners to established practices. To further simplify recordkeeping, Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union is also offering integrated QuickBooks bookkeeping connections via online banking, allowing attorneys to seamlessly track transactions and maintain compliance.
“Waterbury is home to many great law offices, and I wanted a way to help the attorneys in Connecticut have banking products without fees or balance requirements,” said James Higgins, President and CEO of Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union. “This has opened the door for newly established firms to start at the credit union and get away from the fee-based accounts elsewhere.”
Local attorney Rachel Levline of Levine Litigation shared her experience: “I met James back in 2014 through our BNI group in Danbury. Once he made the move to Skyline as CEO, I knew exactly where I was taking my business and it’s so great to be able to walk into the office, text, or call for assistance with fast and friendly service. Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union has helped bring my firm to the next level of operations and I’m forever grateful, It’s a 10 out of 10 recommendation from me!”
