IT Security Update

Members-

As you may have seen on the news, Russia has been removed from swift. You may be thinking, "What is swift?" or may be unfamiliar with what that means for financial institutions within the United States. Essentially, there's been a cut off to Russia from financial transactions and there is an potential that there may be some sort of retaliation against the United States and the financial institutions within.

Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union Members should know that our systems are protected under a multi-layer platform, and we subscribe to monitoring services in which a team of engineers monitor, maintain, and immediately act on intrusion attempts 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The security layers under the cyber security preventative efforts and measures were instituted well before now and we've been able to successfully protect our member's data. Upgrades to our IT software and hardware are ongoing and always top of mind under my management.

Also, there are disaster recovery plans in place should we need to bring them into action. I'd like to stress that your money is safe at Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union.

If you have a concern, please do not hesitate to call the office directly and either a member of my team or I will help you.

Yours in exchange,

James A. Higgins, MBA, President and CEO
